Bay & Beyond
Today we are starting off with once again the return of the awesome Joshuasca with 2 fresh new awesome tunes. I encourage you to leave some love on his music to take his mind off the fact he is kept up inside due to crazy amounts of snow right now - even though his time snowed benefits all of us as it gives him a lot of time to finish revamping his studio & come up with more delicious new sounds for us to enjoy.

Next is Billy Blacklight aka Profresher of Minnesota. At the age of 21 he is creating major ripples being felt in all corners of the bass music community. His tracks incorporate the crunchy in your face feel that the dancefloor craves while still maintaining the kind of smooth beauty that makes it the perfect anthem to lay down by the fire to, if you catch my drift.
His upcoming tour schedule includes Madison, Wisconsin on March 26th, Boston on April 19th & Rochester, New York on April 22nd so make sure to make it out to show him some love as these gigs mark his first out of state gigs - but I can guarantee they will not be the last.

Sub Saviors
I highly encourage everyone to pick up this absolutely rocking compilation album dedicated to raising funds to be given to the Japanese Red Cross. This album was compiled by Sub Synthesis & GlitchDrop & it features tracks by 22 of the current top bass music artists & was mastered by the guru known as Bil Bless. Everyone involved in this album gained mad amounts of respect from myself by collectively deciding to donate the proceeds from this release. This release was originally planned to fuel future releases until the disaster struck - at which point everyone involved came together at the drop of the hat to perform this selfless act. Please check it out & donate what you are able to contribute. By making a donation & picking up this album not only do you get 22 massive tracks, but also the knowledge that your donation is going to make a difference to the lives of people who are in dire need of help & love right now. Abundance of Bass
Since it's been a while since my last post, I have a bunch of new tunes for you today. Also, recently started a Facebook page for this blog, it would be much appreciated if you gave us some love by following & liking this link:

Next, we have a beautiful remix by an English artist by the name of Rich Riddim of a track originally produced by the Russian artist Mzai. Some Santa Cruz Sounds
Been slacking a bit on posting new tunes. Haven't had much time to the computer this week & when I did it was to work on a new colab track while in Santa Cruz. So this post is inspired by a couple up & coming Santa Cruz artists making a name for themselves. The two Santa Cruz artists I feature today I have watched start & grow & constantly am impressed by what they are coming up with.
But before we start with that, wanted to give big ups to Andrew of Dub Pirates for throwing an awesome event at Motiv this week with top notch tunes all night. I had a really great night & much love to all the Santa Cruz family I got to see!
& now, first off we have Minnesota who rocked Motiv for the Guttstar show on Wednesday.
He brings a fresh new taste to the local bass music community & has recently gained a massive fan base expanding globally.

More bass!
First off today we have the fresh new duo known as K-Theory. They have quickly boomed on to the scene & have been gaining global recognition. No matter where you are reading this, you can be sure K-Theory will be hitting a town by you in the very near future. Their quality tracks incorporate interesting psychedelic sounds while still being sure fire dancefloor rockers.
Their remix for the Nit Grit remix competition has risen to the top & stands to be a very strong contender among the overwhelming number of remixes coming in.

Hitting a free show in Santa Cruz tonight at Club Motiv alongside Andrew (of Dub Pirates) vs. Ryan J, Minnesota (playing a set of originals) & Skulltrane vs. Zombie-J. Looks to be one hell of a night tonight! Guttstar will also be hitting up Oakland this Saturday.

Today's Taste of Bass
Today we have some more fresh new sounds for you!
First off, we have the awesome DJP - a very talented young artist & all around awesome guy out of Santa Cruz pushing his own creative tripped out & glitched out bass music.

DJP is a very positive addition to our local music community & always guaranteed to hold it down behind the decks. Along with producing & DJ'ing, he recently started an internet radio show broadcasting throughout the week showcasing local djs & producers (including myself.)

Next up, we have another amazingly innovate producer & amazing person from Grass Valley, California by the name of Joshuasca.
The first time I saw this guy he blew my mind with his amazing tunes combined with his energy & passion for the music he was playing.
He & the people he traveled with were major factors that made what was a completely failed event an amazing experience for me - rocking out & bouncing around the place even though I was one of the only people there to witness his set.
This past November I brought him out to share his music at my birthday gathering & this is what he gifted me:

& now for our first non-Californian artist, a producer by the name of Ed Striggles from England.
I recently heard his music via Soundcloud & really dug his style. Then I heard his remix of the Vibrant EYEris track that I remixed (& posted here yesterday) & was completely blown away.
